Welcome to iWatch CCTV (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website iwatchcctv.co.uk or using our CCTV installation, monitoring, or maintenance services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our website and services.


1. Definitions

  • “Client,” “You,” “Your” refers to any user, visitor, or customer using our website or services.

  • “Service(s)” refers to CCTV installation, monitoring, maintenance, repairs, site visits, consultation, and any related services.

  • “Equipment” refers to any CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, alarms, cables, or hardware we install or supply.


2. Use of Website

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting forms or enquiries.

  • Not misuse the website or attempt to access restricted areas.

  • Not use the website for unlawful or harmful purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.


3. Service Agreements

All CCTV installation and monitoring services are provided based on:

  • A confirmed quotation

  • Written approval or acceptance from the client

  • Payment terms as agreed in the quotation or invoice

Once a service is booked, you agree to allow our engineers access to your premises at the scheduled time.


4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are provided in GBP (£) and may include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment terms will be clearly stated in your invoice.

  • Deposits may be required for large installations or custom equipment orders.

  • Late payments may result in service delays or suspension.

We reserve the right to revise prices due to market changes or additional work requirements.


5. Equipment Ownership

  • All equipment remains the property of iWatch CCTV until full payment is received.

  • Upon full payment, ownership transfers to the client.

  • For rented or subscription-based equipment, ownership remains with us unless stated otherwise.


6. Warranty & Guarantees

We provide:

  • Manufacturer warranty on all hardware

  • Service warranty on installation work (duration specified in contract)

Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage

  • Tampering by third parties

  • Misuse or incorrect handling

  • Power surges or electrical faults

  • Damage due to weather conditions unless specified


7. Monitoring Services

If you subscribe to monitoring:

  • We will monitor your CCTV feed according to your chosen package

  • We will notify you or relevant authorities in case of suspicious activity (as agreed)

  • You must ensure your internet connection and power supply remain stable

We are not liable for monitoring interruptions caused by:

  • Power failures

  • Network outages

  • Third-party service disruptions

  • Hardware failure not caused by us


8. Access & Permissions

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing clear access to installation areas

  • Obtaining property owner permission (if renting)

  • Ensuring compliance with UK CCTV regulations (ICO, GDPR)

We can guide you on compliance, but responsibility ultimately lies with the property owner.


9. Cancellations & Refunds

Installation Services

  • Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment: No charges

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours: Call-out fee may apply

  • Custom orders or special equipment purchases are non-refundable

Monitoring Services

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins

  • You may cancel anytime for the next billing cycle


10. Liability Limitations

iWatch CCTV is not liable for:

  • Losses due to break-ins, theft, or vandalism

  • Data loss due to hardware or software failure

  • Footage corruption or storage malfunction

  • Losses resulting from external factors (power, internet, environmental issues)

  • Unauthorised third-party access due to weak client passwords

Our total liability is limited to the value of the service or equipment purchased.


11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos, and media, is owned by iWatch CCTV.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.


12. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to external sites.
We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.


13. Data Protection

We follow UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.


14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
